Christina Bradley, owner of Music Studio of Marin, has been teaching piano in Marin County since 1976. She is certified in Yamaha, Pace and Musikgarten. Ms. Bradley serves on the Board of Directors of the Marin branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) and is Chair of the MTAC Marin Branch Scholarship Committee. For thirteen years, she taught the extremely popular Introduction to Piano classes for the Ross Valley Summer School and continues to teach privately at her studio in San Anselmo.
Ms. Bradley's students have won many awards in local and state competitions both in performance and composition.
She has performed regularly both as a piano soloist and in a duo piano partnership with Lorraine Taber. She has performed in the College of Marin Summer Opera Workshop, the Winifred Baker Chorale and the College of Marin Community Chorus and has accompanied for voice classes and recitals.
In New York Ms. Bradley studied piano with Gerda Bregman and in California with Robert Hagopian, William Clark and Paul Smith. She studied voice with Martin Frick, Alice Spears, Marian Marsh, Linda Noble Brown and Michael Mohammed.
In 1993 she and Lorraine won the College of Marin Concerto Competition with the Concerto in D Minor for Two Pianos by Poulenc. Lorraine and she later performed Camille Saens-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals with the College of Marin Community Orchestra. Ms. Bradley is a past recipient of the Carolyn Witt Memorial Scholarship and she has won three MTAC Composers Today awards.
